Chris Kresic joined Jarislowsky Fraser in 2010 and has 30 years of experience in the investment industry. He is on the firm’s Management Committee and Investment Strategy Committee, as well as being responsible for the management of all of the firm’s bond portfolios and asset mix. After joining the firm in 2010, he was named Partner in 2011 and, in 2012, was named to the firm’s Executive Committee and the Investment Strategy Committee.
Prior to joining Jarislowsky Fraser, Chris was Head of Fixed Income and Senior Vice President at Mackenzie Financial Corporation. He was also a fixed income portfolio manager and director with Canada Trust and, prior to that, a portfolio manager with one of Canada’s largest property and casualty insurance companies. He began his career with the Bank of Canada in 1988. Chris graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Commerce (Cum Laude) and received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1991.
Chris has appeared in the national media, including BNN, Bloomberg TV, Globe and Mail and National Post. He has also led investments teams that have won numerous industry performance awards for fixed income and balanced funds.
